This selects what default species list is displayed when you enter first data for a walk. Common is currently not used, but may be in the future: it will default to the full list. When viewing data subsequently, only those taxa who have data recorded will initially be displayed. Leaving unselected will default to the standard form configuration setting.

This only affects the records you create and not sites so you will still be able to practice inputting records for any sites that you have already created.
