- Teknisk rapport gräsmarksarter EU 1991 - 2023

We are pleased to inform you that we have updated the EU Butterfly Indicator for Grassland species, 1991-2023. We produced a technical report to describe the indicator, it represents a major update with the last three years up to 2023, through the incorporation of more and expanded datasets, schemes and the 27 EU countries (6,000 transects, and 17 species). It is the first major output from the EMBRACE project. 

The EU Grassland Butterfly Index (GBI) 1991-2023 indicator is part of the monitoring report on progress towards the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) in an EU context. The grassland butterfly indicator contributes to Goal 15: Life on Land being; one of the two biodiversity indicators together with birds. The GBI is specifically mentioned in the EU Nature Restoration Regulation (NRR) in article 11 on the Restoration of Agricultural ecosystems as one of the possible indicators.

 

- Teknisk rapport gräsmarksarter EU 1990 - 2020

The updated EU Grassland Butterfly Indicator 1990-2020 is the combined population trend of 17 selected grassland species monitored across Europe for a long period of time. The indicator has been calculated from population trends estimated for the whole European region and restricted to the 27 EU Member States. In the last ten years, the indicator shows a linear decline of 32% in the EU27 and 36% in Europe up to 2020 with the last update of the eBMS database.

- Teknisk rapport gräsmarksarter EU 1990 - 2017

Den uppdaterade EU Butterfly Indicator for Grassland species, 1990-2017. Vi tog fram en teknisk rapport för att beskriva indikatorn, med en stor uppdatering av tidigare versioner, genom inkorporering av fler och utökade datauppsättningar, tillsammans med nya analystekniker. Det är den första stora produktionen av projektet Assessing ButterfLies in Europe (ABLE). Detta hade inte varit möjligt utan ansträngningen från alla samarbetspartners, nationella program och frivilliga som tillhandahåller uppgifterna. Vår uppskattning till dem alla EU Butterfly Grassland Species 1990-2017-indikatorn är en del av övervakningsrapporten om framstegen mot SDGs i EU-sammanhang — 2019-utgåvan, som kan nås här.  Gräsmarksfjärilsindikatorn bidrar till mål 15: Livet på land.

2.Statistiska verktyg

  • Workshop 'Beräkna fjärilstrender, index och indikatorer'

I ABLE-projektet har nya verktyg utvecklats för att göra det lättare för regionala och nationella samordnare av fjärilsövervakningsscheman att beräkna index och trender samt bygga indikatorer. Denna workshop fokuserar på bakgrunden till metoden och att lära sig hur man använder verktygen.

 

 Preparation:

  • Installera senaste versionen av R.
  • Installera senaste versionen av RStudio.
  • Installera Rtools, från https://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/Rtools/
  • Öppna R, och installera:
  • install.packages("devtools")
  • install.packages("sf")
  • install.packages("data.table")
  • install.packages("speedglm")
  • install.packages("ggplot2")
  • install.packages("mapview")
  • Sedan: library(devtools) och sedan:
  • devtools::install_github("RetoSchmucki/rbms")
